I can’t help but wonder how many players out there in the world have 100% of all Halo achievements? We’re talking ones that are reasonably accessible from days past or current times; not ones that require you to get a game variant from China, or a particular type of cell phone that was only available for a limited amount of years. XBox/PC versions of the games. I can say that I am one of these people, with Halo Infinite almost ready to be put on the list (with 3 achievements left to get).

Unfortunately when i started hunting all of them 2 were unable to be complete in halo 3 and reach. The one in three is specifically 2 for 1 kill 2 spartans with 1 laser. After they removed the spartan laser from the snow map i never found another in multiplayer and could not get the achievement. Reach was one of the defiant achievements it was the invasion achievement dont remember its description. Past that i probably couldnt get all of odsts at this point but halo mcc could be the actual first i complete
He sure does! I know his brother (Bronze Billygoat). He use to work at the GameStop that was up the street from me. When I found out who he was, I was blown away.
I think I cried when I got in on sand trap looking down the passage and hitting two Spartanson the opposite base. I ran around the house like a mad man….
But then the following Halloween I got three in one day. Infection with swords and Spartan lasers. You just had to be there!
Some of the halo games you can’t get 100% achievements on anymore:
Halo 3-there were some achievements that you could only unlock during 2008 or 2009 called vid master from campaign and muitiplayer but now they are unobtainable
Halo 4- all Muitiplayer achievements are unobtainable
Halo 5- you can still get all campaign and multiplayer achievements but some of them are broken/bug like the protect the gold elite on heroic and destroy the phantom on the breaking on heroic
Halo wars 1- you can get multiplayer and campaign achievements but you have to verses against bots to get all Muitiplayer achievements
Halo wars 2-Possible
Halo Spartan assault- no idea
And finally halo mcc- you can get all achievements except halo 2 multiplayer matchmaking achievements.
I hear rumor about this so called Project Sunrise that’s supposed to make H3 achievements viable again. I haven’t looked into it, but I saw the post on the Completionist discord. Supposedly they intend to Sunrise 3, ODST and Reach I think. Idk. I’m done with them so ts not my concern, but some of y’all might want to look into it.
And H2Vista has a software workaround, which is kinda lame. But if you’re late to that party it’s your only way of finishing it. And if you don’t want to feel dishonorable about it you can use Project Cartographer to fulfill the prereqs before manually popping the achievements. But that’s the only game with a presently working workaround to my knowledge.
HW1 and Spartan Assault are still officially doable. I can personally confirm the matchmaker actually still works in HW1.
Honestly, it would be great if all of the matchmade achievements in Halo Infinite could also be earned in custom games. Achievements like Skyhook Shot, Party Bus, etc. require way too much rng IMO. We saw that 343 was able to make the Medic Achievement earnable in customs.
Edit: According to TrueAchievements there are about 20 discontinued achievements. Not sure if you could get the offline mode achievements as Games for Windows Live has been discontinued.
oh boy my post to shine! as far as I am aware I am the individual with the single most copies of halo achievements. I am involved in a 9 way tie for MS achievements found on the TA leaderboards:
I addition to these I ahve nearly every Steam achievement and am currently waiting on getting a new gaming PC to borrow for a sec so I can download infinite and finally complete the total list once again
With a grand total of 3,022 achievements worth 39,325g, the journey has certainly been great… Always kinda hoped I’d unlock some extra gear for the feat like back in the days of H3 and the road to recon, but hey getting to boast on the occational thread is always a nice backup consolation!
Not too shabby man; though I’ve heard from Silver Scorpion’s (Halo Completionist) discord page that the WP/iOS/China don’t truly count towards your Halo scores?
Haha it all depends on how you personally decided calculate your halo scores as there is no official tracker that I am aware of. The HC discord has a few tiers of completionists to go by though, I think their most comprhensive one “Franchise completionists” ancludes the MS duplicates but I think they ignore steam. I know that when Wayoint used to track them they wouldnt include duplicates at all and of course no steam either. TA has the most comprhensive tracking list that I am aware of and they count 22 titles including all MS duplicates.
I prefer my system which is just to combine both the TA and TSA lists for 27 total tracked titles, but even this misses really niche things like the 7-11 app they had back in the day for Halo 4 (I got all those achievements too ) or things like the limited time challenges that existed for the Spartan Apps on X1 (I missed 1 b/c a storm ). Still its the score list I prefer to go by and I say the duplucates definetly count for most mega completionists; ironically they are more obtainable at this point than the original mainstream halo titles for the 360.
