Does 343 even know how to make a multiplayer game? I have never seen such terrible ping in any multiplayer game I’ve played before. They still can’t even fix BTB lol.

Uh… Anything above 60-70 is considered pretty bad since it just makes matches unplayable. 100-200 ping is horrendous and I wouldn’t even bother playing if I had that. This games ping doesn’t matter though when Desync and horrible hit reg is the main issue.

Good ping doesn’t matter when melee lunge is this horrifically inconsistent.

dude I play in 170+ ping so yeah for me 100 is very good

In attrition, I get crazy unstable jitter, randomly blasting from 60-150+, especially laggy when the wall closes in

I have issues when playing ranked. Most of my social matches i get a ping between 30-40 ms. That works very good.
As soon that i switch to the ranked playlist, most of my matches have a ping between 100-130 ms.
It seems that when i play social im connected on european server. Ranked matches are connecting me on oversea servers?
Please 343, please look into this asap, this type of thing is going to kill the population outside of the US faster than anything.
I’m in Australia and 8 out of 10 games for me are above 150ms ping, sometimes up to 250ms. When I do get placed on Australian servers I get 14ms ping, I don’t mind waiting longer to get low ping but 150ms feels absolutely horrible.
Please do something about this, even if it’s the exact same server selection system that’s in mcc, we just need something, even an acknowledgement of the issue would be better than nothing.
