Firefight.
We know it will eventually be put into Halo Infinite.
And since 343 want’s to support the game for a decade and keep adding in new content, I propose that when they eventually add in Firefight, they let us play as ODSTs for the mode. Plain and simple.
This would allow for even more armor customization, but this time taking bits and pieces of the NPC armors throughout the series and allowing us to unlock/customize it onto our ODSTs for Firefight in a manner similar to how we customize a Spartan. Example -
- Armor Core (Am I dressed in H2A ODST armor, H3 ODST armor, Marine armor from HR, or possibly ODST_COMM from Fireteam Raven?) - Helmet (ODST Mk. IV, Mk.V, Mk.VI, Air Assault, Recon, Security, Military Police, NMPD Riot Helmet, etc.) - Helmet Mod (UA, Sniper HU/RS, CNM modules, Dutch’s armor variant, etc.) - Visor Color - Chest Attachments - Backpiece Options (backpacks to tactical tools such as a Pulaski fire axe.) - L. Shoulder - R. Shoulder - Gloves - Prosthetic Limb Options - Wrist Attachment - Utility Attachment - Knee Guards - FF Character (Similar to HR FF Voice Actor, but this will change the head model of your ODST for when you select the “remove helmet” option.)Select PvP maps could be put into the FF Mode’s roster since some will be large enough and diverse enough to handle such a game mode, plus some returning and new maps to be added. What would be neat is to eventually have Firefight Forge to allow players to make their own challenging FF maps, but that could be a later update a year or two down the line.
Thoughts anyone?
