Played almost twice as many matches as me so, what? You grinded with a 4-stack to Onyx? I mean that’s fine and all but don’t come in here acting like you’re better saying I don’t have an opinion when you got worse stats.

Didn’t realize K/D ratio was an indicator of skill in a team based game let alone objective game modes. As you play more games your stats will level out. Never said I was better. All I’m saying is as you climb to diamond plus you are going to struggle against controller players who are above average.
I hate to defend him, but I don’t think he necessarily got carried. I think he just played in a 4-stack and communication always wins games, but you can see that the 4-stack got him there as he’s Onyx in the 4 man queue and a Diamond in the 2 man queue. His accuracy is decent, accuracy don’t mean crap in this game anyway. I got 1.35 K/D with 29% accuracy. Also his K/D is slightly above average. For whatever reason the K/D ratios in this game are very low. The guy at the top of the leaderboard rn has a 1.56 K/D.
He ain’t bad, but he don’t need to be talking junk the way he is from where he standing.
I mean, k/d has been the indicator of personal skill since the dawn of FPS’s. You can’t control how your team functions but you can control how well you do. Idk why people pretend killing enemies and keeping them respawning doesn’t contribute to an objective win. Also, I played a ranked Oddball game last night where I was the ball carrier and went 35-9. Objective is no excuse for not being able to kill the enemy.
100% I got carried. You got me. Even though all the stats of each match is there. What does accuracy have to do with anything. MnK accuracy will always be lower then controller. Metric that is more meaningful is average damage. IMO
My K/D is usually between 1.15 and 1.25. but it doesn’t tell the whole story. And yes i play in 3 or 4 stack. I find the game more enjoyable and have always played Halo that way. Solo/duo on MnK I play alone or with another PC friend. Should reach Onyx in the coming days. I don’t mean to talk smack (if anything I’m happy for you to pull that off) but don’t say you are destroying controller players because that’s not true at higher ranks.
Debunked? It was a direct pull from tracker. Using in context with win rate might help, but it is not false data.
I mean, I’m typically the dominant force in a good 70% of games I play, and I only play cross-play. I’d say I’m whacking people no matter what they use. Perhaps SBMM hasn’t sorted me properly yet, but I find that hard to believe after 150+ games.
I get the point you’re trying to make, but you were way too condescending about it. That’s why you got people cross-analyzing your stats calling you trash now lol. To be clear I’m not saying you’re trash, the other guy was. And tbf I peeked at his stats too he’s pretty goated, but he’s also being a jerk.
Just saying maybe people should focus less on what advantages they perceive controller players to have in Onyx and focus more on self-improvement.
I don’t think aim assist is why it feels like dookey on PC. I think it’s the bullet magnetism from red reticle that console gets.

I’m just curious to see if your opinion/ stance will change once you get into the higher ranks. If you can continuously break ankles against controller players (Diamond +) please send me tips.

Breaking ankles against controller players in gold and silver, come on dude those are bottom 1-5% players. Like I said get into higher ranks and see if your opinion changes. Better yet, I want you wack me tonight. or come party with me in open Que against players who are DIamond + (Top 20%).
I have no shame in my stats cause they are facts. Doesn’t change the fact there is a lot of inputs from people who simply don’t play at higher ranks spreading falsehoods and don’t understand the reality against competent players.
I doubt it will change. I’m always looking to improve. Whenever I faceplant in a game I place the blame on myself and look for what I could’ve done different.
Some actual advice, no sarcasm: I noticed massive improvement in this game when I started focusing more on movement and mobility. The ability to clamber and reposition and confuse your enemy is honestly more valuable than your aim. I kind of started playing it the same way I play Apex.

its nonsense how the game revolves around sprinting and getting the 1st shot. Accuracy doesnt matter.
So here’s the thing. I don’t think aim assist is too strong or too weak, I think the controller aim mechanics are just plain broken. I play controller, I’ve been playing since halo CE, and in Infinite I sometimes have god aim and the aim assist is crazy, then other times I can’t hit a headshot for the life of me. I think something isn’t working properly in the background because the latter times there doesn’t seem to be any “stick” at all.

Do you realise how fundamentally you misunderstand the stats in this system?
You have worse stats. You have a worse CSR. You also have a worse win ratio, (you’re in the bottom 20%) indicating that you aren’t PTFOing, your kills aren’t contributing to the win rates of the teams you are in. Even I have a better win ratio than you, and I’m a worse ranked player.
But the stat that matters is CSR.
And as a player gets matched with players that are, on average, of equal CSR, their stats like K/D and Win-Loss will converge to 1.
All your K/D of >1 proves is that you are consistently being matched with players worse than you.
