Like, honestly this whole post is a massive lie. I’m honestly quite shocked that you’d come onto a public forum and claim that firstly; aim assist exists and secondly; that it ‘does most of the work for you’. Are you serious? That’s just a ridiculous thing to claim in a public forum.
what??? it demonstrably exists, I have no idea how you could claim it doesn’t. also there are significant accuracy gaps between avg mouse players and avg controller players so clearly I’m not the only one experiencing this.
M&K players will best controller players and controller players will best M&K players.
What is really neat is the accuracy data between each input. 343 will never release this data because one input is almost certainly going to be better than the other and the amount of outrage would be unprecedented. Hell, its already happening with the accuracy data that can be extracted from halo tracker.

Pretty cut and dry my dude, now please show me some proof that aim assist doesn’t exist to back up your flat earth theory.
Deflection from the topic, directed insults, or lack of data to back your claim up will be considered concession. Don’t reply unless you have something substantial.
See links above, because you’re objectively wrong with claims like this.
I’ve played Halo since Halo CE and played Halo online multiplayer since Halo 2. Halo Infinite does not have aim assist. I’m literally telling you that when I play, I have no aim assist whatsoever. I genuinely am perplexed that people are telling me it exists on something where it so blatantly doesn’t.
The first thing I noticed when I played my first game was my accuracy being awful because I couldn’t hit anything. Even Warzone has okay aim assist. It simply doesn’t exist for me. My accuracy hovers around average for previous games, and in Infinite I’d say it must be below 45%, easily.
At approximately 1 minutes 30 seconds in video one it shows that there is zero aim assist. It also then further adds that people will experience inconsistent aiming.
At the start of the video it seems to show some kind of small ‘jump’ that doesn’t even lock. So I’ve watched your video and that proves to me even more that it doesn’t exist in the way you whiners are claiming.
If you’re going to share a video at least have it prove your point way beyond what you’re trying to pedal.
Oh, and it’s pretty rich claiming that I’m flinging insults when you’re happy saying people that don’t agree with you are using ‘flat Earth theory’.
Yup, but prior it clearly shows aim assist. Don’t ignore the other aspects just because there’s a blip that you can bank on.
There isn’t ‘zero’ aim assist, there’s inconsistencies and misunderstandings of how aim assist functions. Which need to be tested further and clarified. There even seems to be differences in aim assist between console generations and even on PC when using controller. This needs to be expanded upon so we can better understand it.
I never claimed that aim assist was strong or that there weren’t issues, I challenged your claim it doesn’t exist.
Also:
Congrats you fulfilled all 3, I accept your concession.
Believe what you want, I’ve watched the video you linked and it shows aim assist doesn’t work how it should. This ‘lock on’ is so weak and inconsistent it offers no advantage over PC players.
Where is all this aim assist I keep reading about? I have only ever played Halo on console and with a controller. Been going hard on Infinite since it became available and if there is an aim assist toggle or something, I’d love to know about it. Does it get turned off when I pick up the Commando? Maybe it’s switching off when I pull my sidearm…
