And it’s wrong and trollish to do.
I have two daughters, if we go shopping and I only spend $10 on something pink that’s a win. For in game shinies, yea its pretty steep … if they worked on just pumping out cheaper shinies I think they would make more money. You know like those gacha games or whatever with the 1.99 packs, before you know you spent $1000.
I think the pink and the cat ears should cost $1,000,000.99. That way I wouldn’t have to see that garbage in game!
that’s probably how much all of the armors bundles and everything else put together are going to cost at the end of Infinite’s 10 year life lol
Don’t think so cause people have no selfcontroll and start buying those stupid catears.
I mean, servers cost money and are expensive. $10 probably doesn’t even power one for very long. It’s a really good value when you think about it.
The big problem is that most of the people say “waste your money as you wish” but come on we have to say that the real problem is the value you give to it even if it’s subjective the items in store are overpriced even the season pass was not even worth the price (I bought it btw) and we get a lot of blue coatings.
This is what they meant they said “millions of different customization”.
Please. Halo is Microsoft’s flagship title and the name people associate Xbox with. We aren’t dealing with some struggling indie devs here. Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar corporation and 343 is part of that corporation. I doubt there is any real danger of the servers going bust or the lights going out anytime soon.
But you know, if you can’t even wear the thing you buy (HAZOP) unless you first buy the battle pass, maybe they need to rethink their finances if screwing over their customers is what is needed.
The pandemic has made things really hard on the developers, and with all the economic uncertainties in the world right now they have to be really careful that they don’t go bankrupt paying for all the expensive servers. Top tier netcode like what they have here in Halo Infinite isn’t cheap.
I think we should be very grateful for the good deals here. I mean, the whole game is free, we should all thank them by spending a few hundred dollars buying blue for all our armor sets. I don’t understand why anyone would complain about that.
Had me in the first half, not gonna lie lol
head hitboxes too large, ttk too fast, abilities were annoying. h5 was only better from a technical standpoint.
Agreed . Agreed . Disagree . Ofcourse.
everything that I agreed to could’ve been fixed easily.
The abilites added a new layer of gameplay that wasn’t a gimmick. At high level play you were able to achieve things that an unskilled player can’t.
Halo infnite is far easier without the abilites.
Classic Halo is far harder than Halo infinite.
Halo infinite is a causal experience. Nothing competitive about it esspically without collision.
But over all I hated aim assist period and it’s actually easier in infnite because no one is flying around as often. Trust me I wanted Halo 5 to be super hard. I wanted no radar in halo 5. No aim assist AT ALL. I wanted it to be as raw as you can you get. I even wanted the score board stuff apart of the helmet hud so everything is one cohesive thing on the screen. Super logical. Super realistic
Now Halo infinite feels like a playground full of toys instead of a complicated arena based shooter. Halo 5 was a step.in the right direction even tho it had its problems
hard disagree. while thruster did add to the skill ceiling, it also trivialized things like precise movement and positioning as you could easily dodge grenades and spartan charge into unearned melee kills.
also disagree. infinite has the most difficult sniper, most difficult power weapons in general, fastest movement acceleration, hitboxes precisely matched to the player model, and all the equipment require creativity and awareness to use effectively. no armor lock to stall fights, no jetpack for easy high ground, no regen field making you completely immortal and no power drain allowing you to take 1v4s.
the only thing dragging infinite down is the bloom on the sidekick, but magnum bloom has been a thing from CE all the way to H4 so at least it’s been toned down.
I didn’t see the cat lovers bundle until today and the fact that it is not only $10 for the color pink you get four items in that bundle four items you get an armor coating that is pink and white and you get the cat ears attachment for helmets but only for the Mark 7 you get a cat keychain which is literally just the Halo reach symbol keychain just slightly altered and then you get Kat’s helmet keychain as well those four items are not worth $10
I mean if they designed things efficiently then no artist should really need to be involved other than for very unique color schemes that break the generic designs they created. It shouldn’t be too hard to have a default canvas that allows you to apply any color from a color wheel on to. Maybe there are some complications with how light reflects or yada yada but then I would ask, why did you design it that way? lol
I honestly thought they would let you pick any color you wanted from a very basic RGB/color wheel perspective and then have special combo colors or something as purchase options. It looks like they decided to be even greedier than that.
Annnnnnnnndddd nade predicts became a thing because of that. people would throw nades late to make you fall into the nade that was put there for you when you land after the thrust.
That was the beauty of it. It didn’t just stop at being an “escape”. There were levels to the skill ceiling. Many of them.
I reached a skill ceiling where it wasn’t even about facing eachother head on but using to ablities to out wit eachother without even shooting a lot.
Clamber saves you a lot. The consequence of making a bad jump was far higher. The Sprint slide gives you easy movement that almost matches chain bouncing. In classic Halo all you had was chain bouncing. If you didn’t have that you were screwed in high level play.
Actually the sniper is just as easy if not easier in halo infinite because of how strong the aim assist is.
Power weapons are easy to use. Never had a problem killing with any weapon. Even the camando.
Again. Aim assist trumps the player model argument. Litterally pointless if the game is aiming for me
No it doesn’t take that much creativity. People know about Apex. And Halo 5 had its thrusters. People know how to use them. They are not that difficult. The repulsor isn’t that dificult either. I have kills with all 3.
Amour lock and jetpacks are obviously bad
The only thing dragging infinite down is the entire game. The maps are horrible
The gameay loop is slow and boring.
The weapons are boring and uninteresting and fairly easy to use across the board
Halo 5 and classic Halo take far more skill esspically in map movement
I’m sorry i’m sure you meant to say the most broken sniper its next to useless.
Welcome to the club. The closest color pallette I used to used is locked in a 20$ E-sports armor kit.
See, the true hero of Halo multiplayer isn’t Master Chief, it’s Master Card.
This had me --yoinking- rolling
