Seriously, that’s really disappointing.
That knife bundle shouldn’t cost more than 1, better, shouldn’t cost anything but I know that this game’s meant to be monetized, but come on, at least make the price “fair”.
For the $5 bundle, that should be the price of a whole armor core/parts.
You could really make Mtx prices more fair, you would probably win less by purchase but more people would be enticed to buy more content.

Noticed this earlier in the day, and I actually kind of wanted that chest knife attachment. But 10 bucks for 1 knife model, and 1 emblem? 343 is out of their mind if they think this is worth the money.

Yeah, but I do think that prices are a choice from Microsoft, 343i probably know that is too much, they know that we don’t like it, but will they do what the community want, I hope but probably not, or they’ll wait when the game will lose enough popularity and sales from the shop tanks.
The whole store is disgusting. They need to stop with the rotating bundles and just make a normal store where we can buy what we want.

Yeah I hate rotating stores, FOMO tactics must stop. Seriously predatory practices.

I don’t care if it was Microsoft or 343 who set the prices. It’s well known that if you want to make the most money on a product, you need to price it low enough that you don’t alienate too many people. The higher you price a product, the lower the number of sales. At a certain point you lose too many sales to make more money by pricing higher. And while I can’t be sure, I’m pretty sure that $10 for two knifes is passed the point where you’re actually losing money by raising the price.

Yeah I agree totally, I don’t care either who had the idea too, but I mean that is harder for them to have a say in it.
They would surely make much more money if they price items accordingly too.
Honestly I despise pay to unlock mentality. I would so much rather it be grinding for armor parts, and allowing certain things to just be bought for ten bucks undermines the weeks you might spend grinding for an armor piece. imagine if the skull visor pilot helmet from Halo Reach was ten dollars? it would make owning it less valuable then it is now. I think monetization should stay to exclusively monetized items that are different from the battle pass and not available there, or for the battle pass itself/the challenge swaps and XP boosts.
Yeah, I was just saying the same thing. The knife bundle is worth 100-200 at best.
I seriously think they’re seeing what people will pay for cosmetics ahead of launch, because they clearly have no idea what these things are worth. Either that, or they have an overarching formula for what each bundle is worth.

Being able to buy things individually is a must too. Locking everything into bundles is just a way to force people to spend more.
True, I “hate” being bundled things that majority of people don’t care, just for making a higher priced bundle who virtually looks less like a ripoff.
Like in COD where you have “useless” graffiti and charms and player cards/emblem but you just wanted a gun or a character skin (I don’t have a problem with these items but they’re made to be fillers and inflate the price, they should be free or dirt cheap and separate purchase. I kinda repeat myself here).
I’d be fine if it was bundle and save, you know, like Progressive Insurance
Jokes aside, I would seriously be okay with the bundle being cheaper, but the items available to buy individually.
