You won’t get the aditional maps at launch, when you buy the limited edition it’s like the Gears of War 3 anual pass where if you have it all you have to do is download the maps when they’re released at no cost.

The mappack called “War Games” is not exclusive to Limited. If I understand correctly, it is like a season pass for the 3 DLCs they will release for maps. As soon as each mappack comes out, it will let you dl them for free.

You are not getting 9 more maps with the limited edition. You are just pre buying the map packs and probably getting them earlier than the general public because if it. Kind of like a season pass in other games.

10 maps is plenty enough at launch, especially since that does not include the forge map(s).
And everyone will have access to the 9 DLC maps. You just don’t have to pay for them when they release if you got the Limited Edition.
ALSO, we are paying only 40 extra $ for 3 new mappacks, Infinity briefing packet, and more. That is not greedy at all. That is just wonderful. Also, remember this:
At least 8 missions in campaign ALL NEW LEVELS
19 Multiplayer maps NOT COPIED FROM CAMPAIGN
50 Spartan Ops levels ALL NEW LOCATIONS.
Not to mention the next 50 levels which will come in the next season either in Halo 5 or Halo 4 DLC.

By my count, that is 77 locations for us to explore! Not including Spartan Ops second season. Who else is excited now?

Ya see right there is a problem… Halo CE has 13 maps Halo 2 had 12 Halo 3 Had 11 and now Halo 4 is going to have ten… you see the problem now

Yeah and some were copied locations. We have 77 NEW locations to explore and forge. Be happy with what you get.
If 343 keeps up the tradition then if i have this correct we won’t have to wait very long for the map pack because i believe bungie did say they release the first map packs for their games 77 days after launch. Not too long of a wait but idk if 343 will still do this with this halo.

But you seem to be misunderstanding the words, not the numbers.
The Limited Edition does not give you 9 more maps than everyone else.
It gives you 9 maps in the form of future DLC.
As in, you are basically pre-paying for the first 3 map packs. Maybe less if 343i adds more maps in each pack. But its usually 3 maps each, so that would be 3 map packs.
