i haven’t played online for three days and when I logged on today it says I have been voice banned for a week and wont be able to communicate with other players. which suprises me because I don’t talk a lot of trash and usually play with friends, the only thing ive done that I can remember is arguing with a team of people who said I was stat padding in ctf because I lost 1 game…is one argument with some random people enough to get me voice banned for a week? im confused. will I not be able to talk in other game or in a party chat?
i honestly dont see the point of voice ban
yeah it seems kind of pointless. I get competitive but its not like I scream and curse and talk trash. I just wish I knew what caused it, especially since I haven’t played in a few days.
thats odd i never got voice banned in halo 4 because i was playing this while in multiplayer threw my turtle beaches noticeably loud before 
Voice ban is player controlled which means if enough people mute you, you will be voice banned.

This. Which means it is very easy for someone who really dislikes you (some random jerk who takes his anger out on others because he lost) to Mute you. If enough Mutes occur (maybe the whole team hates you because they lost?), then you get banned. The system for these bans sucks, but we have no control over it, and neither does 343i. Semi on topic, I played against a guy who didn’t like my voice. He made that obvious in the message he proceeded to send me: “you sound like a @#$%ing person dumb#$%”. He didn’t get a positive Rep from me.
