Why I was banned if i dont even have a microphone plugged in?

Because 343 is stupid and auto-bans people who are muted by other people.
So you prob played with some people who just like to mute other people and therefore you got banned.
Nothing you did was responsible for it most likely. It’s a huge problem for everyone.
I probably shouldn’t tell you that many people’s bans have been 2 or even 3 weeks long despite the notification that it is a 1 week ban.

I don’t know, perhaps you got the mute ban for being muted by other players? It was pretty common in Halo Reach if you played MLG. People mute each other so you don’t hear callouts but the system thinks you are abusing the mic and gives you the ban.

Iv heard alot that players in party chat get voice bans. That and the Kinect voice. Im sure lots of players with it on get reported
I got voice banned and I talk in party chat with my friends, never in game chat
