I would love this. They should try it out as a featured playlist.

Fine till a player gets matched against a good player then “poor” player will quit. At least when you are playing in 4’s or 5’s there is a chance for players to jip when you get quitters in your team.
Halo 2 had a head to head playlist. Good times. Some of the most difficult matches I have ever played too
I don’t think the doubles playlist is even doing that good. 1v1 would be cool, but the score would have to be to 10 or something with really small maps.

It would be ranked so you mostly would be with similar skill
Every time a head to head playlist has been included, it’s removed very shortly after. It either turns into one person hiding for the majority or people quitting.
1v1s are best kept to customs, IMO.
1v1 is pretty boring cause you’re just fighting the same person , but unless your doing it for achievements on halo 5 forge
I’d play 1 v 1… I like doubles too, and FFA… and I liked breakout in its original mode, not a fan of the elimination mode in its place… but maybe 1 v 1 I’m the place of elimination for awhile, doesn’t have to be permanent
1 v 1 with an oddball on the map that would give you a small number of points (1 per second or something), a single flag on the map that could be returned for 10 points and have kills be worth five points.
first to 100 points wins.
