Come on guys, you can’t be serious. Every thread that even so much as mentions anything about a ranking system you guys demonize it. It’s not about bragging or trashing on someone who isn’t a 50, it’s a show of skill and keeps it so your constantly playing people at your skill level. Not everyone is a booster, deranker, account buyer, hacker, ect. That’s not even the case. Only small amount of players ever did these things in Halo 2 and Halo 3.
Just because you ran into a cheater in some sense in a game or ran into some kid who thinks he’s God because he’s a 50, get over yourself, because that isn’t even close to how things are. I’m a 50 in 4 playlists in Halo 3 and have gotten 50’s on multiple accounts but you don’t see me going around bragging about it.
A Ranking system, as all you casual gamers seem to think is the above mentioned, actually balances things out. I’m sure you inexperienced players are tired of getting stomped on by experienced gamers game after game going negative 10 or more consistently need to realize that a ranking system and a working true skill system will balance games out to the point were players will come back to Halo and you’ll find more fair and balanced games more often.
I really don’t see why you guys are so against a working ranking system and insist on continually making the better people lose by bringing your team down or quitting objective and making the teams unbalanced because your mad your getting wrecked. Causal gamers are killing a highly competitive game, and a lot of us competitive players (as in all my friends on xbl) are getting sick of you guys wanting all shooters to be as easy as CoD, which is killing the franchise multiplayer wise. I’m glad bravomlg is gonna be working to fix matchmaking.
