I rather have the Elephant return. If you think about it. Why would the Beam rifle be in Halo 4 when the Covenant/Separatist are most likely not going to be in the game. Besides maybe having Elite models for multilayer.

The Elephant isn’t a childish comment It’s a vehicle in Halo 3. The only childish comments are yours so far.

His comment is neither stupid or senseless, he merely said he would like to see the Elephant from Halo 3 return. now if you really didn’t want people to discuss anything but the beam rifle, then you should have stated so or made a poll.

I don’t think he was stating “elephant” because he doesn’t agree with beam rifle, but rather he would like to see the elephant back in Halo.

My problem with the beam rifle is that it is basically the same thing as the sniper rifle, and that it kinda wrecks campaign. I hated when you were just walkin around on the rings, being a boss, then BAM! You died. Oh, you had Iron on… too bad bro! The Focus Rifle fills a different a function, and it is remains only an annoying ZZZZZAAAP! When in campaign.
