+1 thing to Halo 4 Known Issues

This probably has been talked about before, but I think it needs to be brought back up as nothing is being done about it.

Something they should add to the Halo 4 Known issues sticky but they won’t is hardware lag.

When there are around 12 or more players in one game the game has horrible horrendous lag. When I walk around or shoot people my screen gets choppy and doesn’t move correctly. I have died so many times because I couldn’t line up a head-shot because my reticule skipped passed someones head on its own.

To be clear, I’m not talking about network lag, I’m talking about hardware lag.

Why hasn’t this been added to the list?

Why did 343 release a game that does this?

Um… I can still play fine on my Xbox 360 Pro with 16 players. Are you sure it is hardware lag? Still sounds like network latency.

I know what network lag is, it’s different.

Have you ever played split screen on complex and experienced hardware lag? My Xbox does the same thing, and I have other friends that experience the same thing.

It seems to happen more when there are lots of going on, such as explosions, rockets being shot and vehicles…etc.

Frame rate issues the game can’t handle everythingon the screen due to there being to much and instead of running normally it lags the game for a moment to catch up and handle all the stuff going on. It can’t be resolved on the 360 however it will be solved for halo 5 since it will run at 60fps imstead of 30fps correct me if I’m wrong.

I know this, but I don’t know why they would release a game that does this… It happened rarely in halo 3 or halo reach, but (almost)every large game for halo 4. I much rather have smooth game-play than beautiful looks.

I only get it on the Crimson maps but I don’t ever play split screen. There isn’t anything that can be done about it now.

True I’d rather have smooth gameplay but the looks were a good part on 343’s behalf and if they didn’t improve upon it then that would of been another thing for people to complain about. It isn’t really bad and the next game will have it fixed.

Frame rate for split screen has always been bad anyway.

The Xbox’s hardware is too old.

Imagine a 7 year old gaming pc trying to run modern games.

I think with the Xbox one and the future of server based gaming for Halo, I think this will soon be fixed.
