Haven’t spotted the answer from footage yet, but does anyone know if Sprint in Campaign behaves the same way as Arena does? In that you will not be able to bring your shields up when sprinting, or will be knocked out of it before reaching maximum momentum. I’d prefer if these balances stay within multiplayer.
I would assume it does. It wouldn’t make sense to have it behave differently.
Having it behave differently would kind of defeat the purpose of including it in arena at all. I believe the whole point was to offer a consistent gameplay experience across all of the game modes. I could see some Arena-heads getting really upset if sprint worked differently in campaign.
I don’t understand what would be the problem with taking the balances out for Campaign. It should be a place less restricted than Arena. It’s not harming anyone, but the AI. I do not have a problem with the balances staying, but would like them out seeing as they were mainly put in place for multiplayer.

As I said before, if they were to change it at all for campaign it would probably upset the anti-sprint crowd because a big reason for sprint being in arena is to have consistent gameplay throughout the whole game. So if there isn’t consistent gameplay throughout the whole game, why couldn’t they make it a little less consistent by just removing sprint from arena modes? I’m not an anti-sprint guy myself, but I could understand being upset by that.

Something nit picky an anti-sprint guy may say, but then 343 would never remove sprint in the 1st place. To 343, that would be a polar opposite of something they believe in, while my request isn’t as radical in comparison.
The game already isn’t consistent with Warzone having game effecting aesthetics, but people are cool with it. Only reason why I’d like sprint balances gone, is because I took a liking to having them recharge in Reach and H4 Campaign sprint. Also, I’ve seen many people toss out imbalances/less restricted ideas to Campaign or a casual game type constantly. It’d always be, “not for multiplayer/ranked etc, but maybe for Customs, Campaign, or said social gametype.”

I’m just saying, I could see it being an issue for people. I don’t want a different sprint mechanic for campaign, because then I have to adopt two different play styles for campaign and multiplayer. I’d rather just have one consistent mechanic for the whole game.
