1 Shot on my X! oh wait...

Can we bring this back somehow? Someway? Pretty please? Sugar? Coffee?

The X’s on the radar are kinda useless, plus they aren’t on the screen long enough to do much of any good.

Death X way points were great…

Yeah this is one of the most obvious blunders that would have been sorted out by having a proper Beta.

Bring Back the X

True story. Plus it’s an iconic Halo phrase to shout “One shot on my X!”

Donuts. Definitely donuts.

I always find myself saying that, It’s a habit I don’t think I’ll ever break honestly.

I blame Bryan Simon for that damn song.

I still call out one shot on my X or [insert power weapon here] on my X.

The Red X was so good that you usually didn’t even need to call out because the X already told me what I needed to know.

Still scratching my head over the removal of this.

I completely agree. This is what I have been saying since day one lol still baffles me why they took it out.

The X is not needed there are 3 ways to tell a teammate died on the screen.

X on radar
service tag disappear
words on left tell you

Having the red X back will be little help imo

PLEASE BRING THIS BACK! core halo mechanic that was amazing and shouldnt have been removed at all

You know whats also not needed…Cars. Let me break it down for you:

You have two legs
There are other vehicles for transportation, like a bike
Its much healthier

Having a car will only make you a lazy pig…am I right or what?

Cars don’t really need all those rear view mirrors either!

If you want to know where all the other vehicles are located you have:

2 shoulders to look over.
other people in the car you can ask
situational awareness and spatial memory (practice harder!)

Competitive player: “1 shot on my X at top mowhawk!”

Casual player: “…” Silence.

We don’t need to make the game any more difficult for teamwork, the majority of Halo players haven’t been great at it in the past.

You don’t even need a horn either, you could just stick your head out the window or give them the bird.

None of those are indicative of the exact location of the death unless you’re right next to them (within radar range) or looking in their direction when they died. The red x used to linger so that you could whip around when someone died and identify the location easily, like the radar x does within 25 meters, only across the entire map

Agreed. Let’s have the X back.

There’s a pretty decent survey being talked about around the forums about these issues (red X, in-game ranking system, custom games, lack of playlists, etc.).

Go to this thread and take the survey. 3000+ people already have and if 343 sees this it’ll give them a good indication as to how Halo 4 is actually doing.

I wish someone had done this a lot sooner, but take the survey!
