I got for some time a 25-Sign-Code to get one month Gold. I wrote down the code - it said it will work until june. Now I got some time, try to use it: Don’t work - Code is unknown. I tried to find the original message with the Code. Gone.
And I recognized, that Microsoft has no support at all for this (exept a forum. Sry - but that’s unprofessional. And what if I don’t speak English? - Then it would be even impossible for me to write all this down here.
And tha’t the reason, why Microsoft and Halo is hitting always a wall with sales.
If noone can solute this mess up - the chances that I buy Halo 5 will descend down to 2-5% (from 50%). The chances that I will sale all my Halo games soon rise to 80-90% (from 40-50%).
Chances that I buy some dlcs again descend from 50% to 10% (last time I bought some Borderlands II stuff. I was up to buy some dlcs for Borderlands I - but this … not working thing gives me an uneasy feeling. I guess you know what I mean.)
The money that I might save buy not buying Halo 5 this winter (or later) will flow into car parts. Same as the rest of the saven money from not bought dlcs.
Just saying all this as a small self-analyse.
I will check this topic maximal 24 hours. If no answer is given, and I still can’t use my code. See it as fail.

The problem you are having is not even related to 343i, it’s in regards to Microsoft. On the other end, you shouldn’t wait forever to redeem a code for this exact reason.

I guess they added the line “will work until june 2015” or something like that. But didn’t changed the values for the codes.
And all people who actually belive what Microsoft writes … *[complete this sentense in your mind plese]*How unprofessional.
Chances that I buy Halo 5 … around 50% … maybe -2%.
Now I got my code working. And in less than 24 hours. But I also see that this wasn’t very smart by Microsoft:
Sending a Code that is working until june - with a msg-system that deletes each msg that is older than 1 month?!
They should thinkup something more … “working” the next time. There are people out there, that have no time to check their XBox every week - or every month (in hard cases); like me.

Is it right that there should be a second campaign for H3 in the MCC? Or what is ODST?

ODST was a standalone game that came out in 2009. The campaign portion of the game is being added to the Master Chief Collection, but development hasn’t finished yet. It should be ready sometime around May or June i imagine
Sounds nice, chances for Halo 5 might rise, if the game (or game add-on) is good. I just hope they [343 Industries-Studio] won’t lose their focus on Halo 5 by working on to many side projects (maybe it’s outsourced - good).
I will try to play some Halo online soon. The last time I played something online … it was like 7 years ago. Maybe I will play campaigns again to train first. I never want to start as a noob.

ODST is pretty good, I really enjoyed the campaign. It is currently being developed by another company, so no focus is being lost on Halo 5 - Halo 5 itself is a separate team from those working on the Master Chief Collection
