I love Halo 5, but this game can be very aggravating. One of my biggest complaints is constant smurfing that takes place in this game. Overall, i think the ranking system does a pretty good job of placing people of similar skill levels together. However, it always seems without fail that when play FFA, or TS some dude goes 25-5 and he just so happens to be on his 1st ranked game. This is total BS and quite frankly, I’m growing tired of it. There has to be some method of restricting the number of gamer profiles that can be used per purchased copy of the game. It should be 1 purchase, 1 gamer profile, end of story. I’m new to the game and am a plat/low diamond caliber player. I don’t mind losing, but getting wrecked by someone who’s onxy/champion sucks. It’s just not fun. I’m getting close to the point where I just might hang up this game. It’'s too bad because 343 has created a really great game. I just wish they’d been more plugged into the community. To my understanding this is not a new phenomenon and has been going on in the Halo franchise for some time. C’mon guys fix this. At least 50% of your audience here are casual gamers. When people get to too high of a rank on their main they have trouble getting games. So you’re saying that people of high rank shouldn’t be able to play?
There’s no real work around this. That whole 1 game purchase = 1 profile thing wouldn’t be something 343i decides. MS has the whole game sharing system for the Xbone. Not to mention some people are just genuinely good starting off. I remember doing my Basic Training playlist games in Halo 3 and being worried about actually being bad at the game, but I did really well, don’t remember the exact K/D because that was so long ago but I was well ahead of the others I played against.
I’m no pro and don’t feel this way at all OP. So not sure what to say I like FFA and am glad it’s a ranked list unlike in M.C.C

It’s really stupid when people ask questions like these. “So you’re saying blah blah blah?”
No, that’s not what he’s saying. He’s saying he is not enjoying getting beat down 100% of the time when all he’s trying to do is have fun.
Op is complaining about tryhards it seems.
The ranking should allow you to get matchs where you dont get stomped. You just have to play enough to get ranked. If thats not your thing theres always social and warzone.

So if I buy a copy of a game I can play it using my profile but nobody in my household can use their profile to play without purchasing their own copy?Hmmm don’t think that one would ever work.

of course it will never work. i think 99% of people would never buy two discs just so another family member can use it

So you want me to buy another $60 game so my wife can occasionally play? Just because you got wrecked in a free for all game? Ya right. Get better or suck it up. Some people will be better than you, that is the way of life.
I am tired of people complaining because they lost handily. I remember learning to play on lockout. It took me several games to get a kill. I was constantly jumping off edge and killing myself accidentally. Instead of complaining on forums I got better and turned into an alright player. Quit complaining OP.

Really? What’s your problem kid? Parents not give you enough attention?
Listen, my solution my not be the right one, but I’m identifying a problem that I believe has resulted in a big loss to the size of the Halo community. So it should be addressed.
No need for personal attacks. Considering I’ve played with you Hydrated, I would have expected you to have been a bit nicer. You do realize I’m captain of Notable Company Delta, right? So yes I have plenty of people to play with. Thanks for your concern though.
Yeah, great idea, lets take away multiple profiles so that I can’t maintain a family console simply because your having a bad game.
everyone getting worked up over something that can never happen.

You’re a moron. This isn’t about me having a bad game. It’s about the fact that the folks wrecking in this game are unranked a significant portion of the time. If you can’t understand why that’s a problem, I can’t help you.
My solution my not be the right one, but I’m identifying a real problem that’s hurt the Halo community at large.
Toughen up OP… one sided beat downs happen in online gaming. It’s not a perfect system nor will it ever be.

I get that. Not expecting perfection. Just would like to see this obvious flaw in the system fixed. Otherwise, I think the ranking system does a pretty good job.
