1-50 Ranks and Good Playlists?

How in the world do we not have FFA Slayer and Team Doubles on Halo 4, yet we have “Flood” and “Regicide”?

Seriously, the most popular playlists are Team Slayer, FFA Slayer, and Team Doubles and we only have 1 of these?

Not to mention that are ranking system is gone and replaced with this xp garbage. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem with the current ranking system being there but anyone who wants to play the game to win wants the old 1-50 ranking system.

I know that 343 wants to appeal to “casual” players, but that why you put in social playlists that still give xp for their spartan rank.

Have social playlists and ranked playlists. Both playlists give xp for your spartan rank. You have a different rank for every ranked playlist. It should also show your highest rank achieved in ranked playlists on your service record like in Halo 3. So if I get a 50 and then drop to a 49, it will still say on my service record “Highest Rank Achieved: 50” or something like that like in Halo 3.

I don’t want to have to go to waypoint to see my rank, I want it next to my name.

In all honesty I think it would be cool if it listed our current ranks in every ranked playlist on our service record, along with our highest rank achieved. This would make the game so much more fun. I’d have incentive to win, rather than play all day to gain xp. I rank would actually reflect skill, and I would have incentive to get a 50 in every playlist if it showed them all on my service record.

We also need FFA Slayer and Team Doubles added permanently. And if they implement the 1-50 ranking system I would really like a social and ranked version of team doubles, so I can play with my brother or roommates in team doubles and not worry about them destroying my rank.

While I’m on my rant, they should also add Guardian, Lockout, and the Pit into a 4th DCL. I’d GLADLY pay for it. The gameplay on Haven is descent, but the map is just ugly. I don’t think I have a favorite map on Halo 4 because they are all just descent. There is no “lockout” or “Guardian” type map on Halo 4.

Overall the game itself is great, but little details like ranking systems, playlists, and not so great maps are ruining the game for me.

In summary:
-Bring back the 1-50 ranking system, I want to wee my rank next to my name, not go to a website to see it
-Add Team Doubles and FFA Slayer
-Add a 4th DLC package containing remakes of the best Halo 2 and Halo 3 maps

Well, as usual 343 is bringing us what we want. But there is a huge plot twist, this is now the hallmark of 343. The ranking system is going to be visible ONLY ON WAYPOINT. What I mean by their “plot twists” is that they are also bringing back Double Team but it is going to be a ROTATIONAL PLAYLIST that will be exchanged with other playlists periodically. Which means it might not have the garbage ranking system they intend to give us. Also the FFA throwback playlist I heard is either mainly or exclusively objective games. Why give the community obj and regicide FFAs. This is unbelievable.

And don’t even get me started on CTFs auto pickup, no drop, and NAV point.

Team Slayer
Team Doubles
Team Snipers
Team Objective
Lone Wolf
SWAT

Basically like Halo 3…

They could go ahead and make an Infinity and Pro version of each if they wanted, but I think that would get stupid. Id say just make a “pro” version of team slayer if people complained.

I just don’t understand how they can make Team Doubles rotational, they must be joking…
