As is, apparently the 1-50 is only viewable through WAYPOINT, and that’s complete ballocks (Lies/A Mistake). If the ranks can’t be seen in game and in lobby, their worthless. You only got in HALF of what a ranking system should be. You only got HALF of what people wanted. I don’t want to have to exit the game, go to The Halo Waypoint App on Xbox and search up ‘RandomPlayer123’ to know his skill rank. No one cares what their skill rank is if no one else can see them.
Please 343 for the love of god, make the Ranks viewable in game as well.

There isn’t a 1-50 in Halo 4.
You will know what his rank is. It’ll be similar to yours given you’re matched together.
So you’re admitting that you need it to goat and say I’m better cause I have a higher rank.
If you actually pay attention to updates and posts They are adding it visible in game in a TU
In Game? Or in Pre/ Post game lobby? You can already look up player’s stats from Pre/ Post game lobby, I’m sure it will appear there after the TU takes effect.

While I agree to an extent that the rank should be view-able in game (purely for entertainment purposes on my part), why do you care that much what other people’s ranks are? If you’re worried about their skill level, you’ll find out in-game how good they are. The visible rank hasn’t exactly represented their skill level in a while.

Thanks for saying the loud portion of the competitive community, although I’d like to add immature and obnoxious portion too. I consider myself a competitive player, and would definitely want it to be accessible in game. But seeing as we’re being matched up evenly, we can see how we rank in Waypoint to see how we are compared to our friends or to see if we did better of worse that day, and the fact that this system isn’t crap like Arena but similar to Halo 2 and 3 are all nice things.
I get where 343 is coming from, they want to find out a way to prevent people buying accounts and things that just aren’t good in the game, but also want to satisfy the competitive community. They’re figuring it out by following player behaviour and statistics when the game is launched and Frankie even said it’s completely possible it will be put in game. People who have created these threads need to realize that we’re gonna have to wait and see how things work out.
If they aren’t making it viewable to everyone, at least make it viewable to the player himself so that the player, actually will be aware of that there is a trueskill system in place and that it matches you with players of similiar skill. So if players desire to find out other peoples skill, they can go to halowaypoint.com.

WHAT is the reason behind that if you dont mind me asking and for all you who say that the LOUD portion of the community needs to be silenced im sorry we dont make pointless threads to kiss the -Yoink!- of Developers who have ear plugs. I mean seriously the only threads ive seen from you guys are Campaign Speculation and Worship threads other than that you QUIET members of the community just Drool over threads made by more vocal members like we are trying to appeal to you or something.
