Will the beta test for the soon-to-be upcoming content update be tested on dedicated servers, or are they to be tested on P2P servers as well? Testing on P2P would give a far better evaluation given that most games are not played on dedicated servers.

Rest of the world can get stuffed I’ve suspected from the beginning they’re only interested in the U.S market.
This is honestly their public way of admitting TMCC has been in early beta stage since launch. This game was absolutely nowhere near ready for public release.

You should read the FAQ about this before you go making uninformed accusations. From the FAQ:
"Q: Why are only players within North America eligible to participate in this beta test?
A: Due to the beta testing session times, we are selecting players within North America to ensure optimal population."

HAHA, the game is not taking up “Almost 100Gb” on your system. Patches mostly replace old code, not add to it. The game isn’t much bigger than when originally released, and most of the size increase is from Spartan Ops. Hopefully this update is why we havent had one for a while, because they are actually doing a significant overhaul!

Thanks for explaining how content updates work Apollo. Some people don’t have a clue no matter how much we post it. Why they don’t just actually look at their Xbox One storage and see the game is still 61GBish is anyone’s guess, yet they choose to make a display of public ignorance instead!
To all of those requesting invites to the Preview program just to get a taste of the 3 day Beta content update, you will not get in in time to do the Beta, so join the Preview program for the right reasons. When everyone last requested this for the Halo 5 early access, I actually obliged and asked the people that my only condition was that they add me back to their friends list. Half of them did not and I can only conclude they only care about their own interests. They couldn’t even take the time to add me back yet expect I should take my valuable time to invite them (despite me telling them they had no chance to get in the early access). Not again.
If you want to get in the Preview program for Preview purposes of Xbox One in general, then by all means. However, I will not send Preview invites so you can be a part of any game specific activity (which it is too late for you for anyhow at this point).
So I suggest we please keep this thread about the Content Update Beta itself and take up pages just asking for invites.

ya so did anyone else notice no imorovement with that last update.it won’t connect me to a damn thing.searching for players…players found…connecting session…searching for more players… Repeat repeat repeat.then it takes 5 minutes to leave matchmaking,getting frustrated.

The last update was far from a cure. I am really hoping that the previous updates were all just band -Yoink!- and this new Content Update that we will be beta testing is the tourniquet. It is supposed to be a complete overhaul; May all of the main issues please be remedied without introducing a whole bunch of new ones!

Did they mention it would be a complete overhaul in the FAQ or are we assuming that because its going to be the largest update (size-wise) since the first one and they are actually beta testing it? I’m not asking to be a -Yoink- i’m actually interested.
Anyone else think its totally ridiculous that i am actually happy they are having a BETA for a PATCH!?
