1/2 years of halo 5?

What do you think?
Can halo 5 survive another years
Ps i think YES because the matchmaking are constantly update every week!

100% it can and it will and I will bet its weekly numbers rise as Infinite news is released.

Its arguably the best arena shooter on the market and I don’t see any games coming out that would pull its player base away permanently. Not that games do that per se but you get my point.

If people are still playing default H4, then I’m sure H5 will survive as well.

^this is very true I think it can survive until infinite releases then how good infinite does depends on if it will continue to survive

Halo 5 is already dead. Very limited populations spread over too many playlists. Little to no server support. Constantly messing up the weapons. I used to love playing btb. Now that the battle rifle is so inconsistent and combine that with poor servers; you can’t ever predict if you’ll kill someone in 4 shots or 8 even if you never miss. You gotta ditch the br and grab literally any other weapon.
The master chief collection is a perfect example of how poor 343 is doing. That’s been out how many years now and they are still working on it?

I have never had trouble finding other people or have other people randomly join me when I open up my custom games to the public. To me it seems the game is far from dead.

Definitely gonna last for halo addicts. There’s no other game that even comes close to how a halo game feels. The only games competing in such regards…are the former titles themselves honestly.

Yes. If I can still find a match in H4, I’m sure H5 will still be around in half a year

They announced work on performing a major fix at the end of 2017 after the One X was released. I think the last big update to the game was in 2015 if I’m not mistaken.

Totally with you on the BR thing though. I don’t find the game nearly as fun anymore since they made the workhorse gun complete trash. Even so, there are still plenty of people that play so it’s very much possible to find players.

I never said anything about having trouble finding people… population is low though that’s a given. You’ll definitely see it affect higher rank players too. Tough to find a game at those levels. And it’s usually not well matched. Squad or champs against solo diamonds.

the question is…what is there to replace it?
call of duty: black ops 4? are you yonking me? halo is the best fps there is and there every will be
and is proven that halo players have better skill than any other fps game ever

P.S. if you think destiny 2 is better i think not…they killed cayde-6

Yes it would be active because it’s halo boys.

halo 5 for me is one of the best halo and for the community it’s divided but the game is too much good so it kept an audience in the big the halo fanbase and that’s what makes a game still alive.

Yes because it has too. With the next halo so far off we don’t have much of a choice. Theirs still plenty to do in it, get to rank 152, go for the harder commendations, stuff like that. Halo reach still has a pretty strong player count so I can see 5 lasting even after H6 comes out. Though I’m sure at some point H6 will eclipse H5 by the looks of it.

Oh yeah. I am still trying to get to 152 so I know I will be around until Infinite releases and I have had no issues finding games in other playlists so I imagine there are plenty of other people who will stick around until Infinite as well.

sorry…i will not be around…i will be on and off now and again thou. I have one superior game to halo that always pulls me back…
WORLD OF WARCRAFT

I have returned to Halo 5 recently after getting sucked into the Battle Royale mode and I’m hooked. They have done a lot of good work with updates. I haven’t played PUBG or fortnite hardly any

Same here. Recently got back into matchmaking and really enjoying myself. It plays very fast and it’s a very fun game where the hours go by in the blink of an eye.

I’m certainly planning to continue with it. 3 years since it has come out, Halo 5 has maintained a core of addicts…opps scratch that…a dedicated playerbase, that will probably keep playing the game even after Infinite comes out. So yeah, while the player population isn’t comparable to something like say Overwatch, it is still sufficient to allow you to jump in find plenty of people in most playlists. Folks already pointed out that Halo 4 is still alive and well and that game came out in 2012. I’m a fan of Lawbreakers so trust me, I know what a dead game looks like and Halo 5 is most certainly not that.

I’ll definitely play more since there is a better chance of me getting into the beta.

Or at least practice for when Halo 6 comes out.

It 100% can. Just look at all of the clans still grinding for achilles. There’s a ton of activity, despite a content drought.
