Ever since Halo 5: Guardians came out, could we see 031 Exuberant Witness coming back in the upcoming Halo Infinite? Maybe we can see her having a conversation with Master Chief and the Pelican Pilot in the new Halo video game?
Why not, 343 Guilty Spark came back in the original Halo trilogy.
Exuberant’s one of my favorite characters of all time! Sincerely hope we get to see more of her in Infinite.

She will be back. Most likely will be one of the few ‘created’ allies in the game. Even though she is not created by humanity.
I liked Exuberant Witness alot, but I question her relevance in a later Halo title. I really love using her voice from the announcer pack and hope she returns for that as well if she appears in the campaign in some way.
While she’s a beloved character, I doubt she’ll make an appearance. She’s dedicated to her installation and leaving it would not be in her nature. Also, I don’t see a reason why we’d return to Genesis in this game.

I would love to see 031 Exuberant Witness make a return in Halo Infinite, and I’d also love to see some of the other monitors make an appearance, like the illusive 117649 (the monitor of installation 07).

Considering it’s a new installation it’s likely we could be seeing a new monitor. The monitor for Installation 07 is monitor 117649. It’s not catchy but it’s more likely we will be seeing that monitor in Infinite.

Is Genesis the place where the Mantle is physically located in some way? H5 seemed to suggest it but I never got through the Forerunner books so this is a bit of a blind spot in the lore for me personally.
Besides that I think you’re right. A monitor is dedicated to its installation and if Exuberant would have left Genesis we would have seen her in the final cutscene of H5. I suspect we’ll get to deal with another monitor in Infinite.

Genesis is where Cortana convened the Guardians in Halo 5 before deploying them across the galaxy. Genesis also serves as a major connection point to the Domain.

I never thought of a Halo game in that style. But, it could end up working well, especially with Exuberant as the main character since she has plenty of personality. Spin-offs are the perfect way to experiment with new genres without messing with the mainline series.

The reason why I am saying this is because you can spend more time with the story and characters in a Telltale video game especially if it’s a six or seven episodes. The Batman Telltale video game is a great example of spending more time with the story and characters in ten episodes. That’s why I thought a Telltale style Halo video game where 031 Exuberant Witness is the main character will be a good idea. I think a Halo Telltale video game can get like seven or eight episodes especially if they want to spend more time with 031 Exuberant Witness interacting with the ODST Troopers, Marines and Spartans. While at the same time, you can explore the Halo Universe in a Halo Telltale video game.

well, her world was overtaken by Cortana I doubt that she could stay as she’ll be facing retaliation from her. Especially after she helped liberating John from the Cryptum.
Also, I think most of the community has 031 in a scale from “meh” to “I like her” which it’s a lot more than we can say about other Halo 5 characters that are partially or totally disliked. That summed with my other reply, make pretty good reasons lore wise and real life wise to make her return for infinite, also, humans now need valiant faithful AI to help them (as you know those little helpers re very useful when interacting with forerunner’s facilities) 031, Isabel and Rolland are the few that I can think of rn it would be a waste to let her in the dark.
Maybe we will see several of the installation keepers joining forces to help S117 after seeing what devastation Cortana or The Banished could unleash? Possibly even to “save” their own installations or the hierarchy in which they were developed for? -Just spit-ballin’

Cortana left Genesis. Took her guardians with her. If she was going to leave Genesis, she would have stayed with Chief and company when they left the planet to go back to Sanghelios. But she didn’t. Monitors have fierce dedication to their installations, and barring destruction, are not likely to leave.
I just completed Halo 5 without knowing all that much regarding the story. Exuberant Witness was an absolute delight and my favorite part of the game.
Her little
alien zooeaster egg was amazing and I wish H4/5 had a lot more easter eggs like it!
